Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American journalist. She is employed by ESPN and works as the SportsCenter anchor for news. She was hired by ESPN as a reporter in the year 2016. She's the daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual and has been for a long time, starting at her age of nine. Her ability in this area allowed her to land her first position at Univision, Miami. She worked as a producer for national programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. After this it was announced that she was hired by the CBS station of St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. In 2009, she relocated from Rio Grande Valley, Texas to become a news reporter for The Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In 2009, she moved into Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where she became an editor for KNVO48 Univision and Fox2 News. Also, she was often required to act as a sports or weather anchor. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate and she assumed other responsibility. She wrote pieces on Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS, and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason Finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. The Univision 23 channel also produced her local sports program Accion Deportiva Extra, on where she was anchor. Then, she became the sports host for the morning program that is Despierta America Deportes. She held the same position for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on the UniMas Network. Antonietta Collins was born and raised in Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1985, in Mexico City. There is an older sister. Her family left in 1992 Mexico and moved to Miami. In 1992, the couple divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, a naval engineer who died in 2006 from kidney cancer. On a trip, Antonietta stayed at the home of her sister in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins brother had recently been offered a new job. Antonietta still a senior at high school but she knew exactly what career path she was looking for. When she was deciding whether Mount Union would be a good fit to her needs, Antonietta visited the school. The campus was a dream for her. They also offered her the major that she desired. When she completed the requirements for high school, she was accepted into the university to study media studies. The relationship she formed was long-lasting with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the manager at WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a member. Mark's passion for journalism and confidence in herself inspired her. She in turn was determined to achieve the standards he set and to not disappoint him.
